If you are the successful bidder on a lot through Up For Bids, payment is made directly to the selling agent listed on the lot.

It is important to follow the trading terms set by the selling agent. These details can be found in the assessment, the listing for the lot, the email you are sent at the end of the auction

Who do I pay

All payments go to the designated selling agent. Up For Bids does not handle payments or hold funds. We simply facilitate the sale process.

Do I need to use an agent to settle?

Using an agent is not required. Some selling agents, however, may ask buyers to settle through an agent. In certain cases they may require full cash payment before the stock or item is loaded for delivery.

If you plan to use an agent to assist with payment or settlement, make sure to let the selling agent know.

What payment options can I use?

Payment options vary between selling agents. Contact the selling agent directly to confirm what is accepted and what is required before making payment.

Important note

Up For Bids will never ask for your banking or payment information. All payment arrangements are handled directly between you and the selling agent.
